How to fix Battlefield 4 slow download
I have finally discovered a fix to the slow download problem on Origin. All you need to do is:

Exit the Origin Client
Save a text file on your desktop with the following inside.

[connection]
EnvironmentName=production

[Feature]
CdnOverride=akamai

Save the file as EACore.ini
Reload the Origin Client
A message will appear about loading the file, click yes.

The Origin client loads up in R&D Mode. Ta Da Fixed. Now downloading at my max speed.

Note:
To exit R&D Mode simply delete the eacore.ini from where origin is installed and reload the Origin.

Hope this helps and saves hours of trying other useless fixes, as usual the problem is EA.

Einfach PC runterfahren und wieder starten funzt auch. Dann steigt auch der Downloadrate.
